WHAT: NYS Agriculture Commissioner Richard A. Ball will visit the Finger Lakes Welcome Center to kick off the State’s celebration of the Taste NY program’s 10th anniversary. A short speaking program will include remarks from Commissioner Ball, Geneva City Manager Amie Hendrix, and Market Manager Jennifer Kime. Following the program, vendors will be on hand sampling the many delicious local food, beverage, and gift products available at the Welcome Center.
The celebration will mark the first in a series of events that are planned across the state in 2023 in recognition of Taste NY’s 10-year milestone and the program’s success. Taste NY is New York’s flagship ‘eat local, drink local’ program, highlighting the quality, diversity, and economic impact of food and beverages grown, produced, or processed in New York.
