Commissioner Ball to Celebrate Taste NY in the Hudson Valley

State Agriculture Commissioner Celebrates Taste NY 10th Anniversary at the Hudson Valley/Catskills Welcome Center

WHAT:        

NYS Agriculture Commissioner Richard A. Ball will visit the Hudson Valley/Catskills Welcome Center to continue the State’s celebration of the Taste NY program’s 10th anniversary, spotlighting local farmers and food and beverage producers who are growing their business with the help of the Taste NY program. Since its launch, the program has had a more than $100 million economic impact on the program’s participants across New York.

The celebration marks the seventh in a series of events that are taking place across the state in 2023 to recognize Taste NY’s 10-year milestone and the program’s success. The event will also coincide with the Welcome Center’s five-year anniversary of opening its location at Woodbury Commons. Taste NY is New York’s flagship ‘Eat Local, Drink Local’ program, highlighting the quality and diversity of food and beverages grown and made in New York.
