Piece of Velvet Issues Alert on Undeclared Eggs in “Oreo Red Velvet Pudding”

POV KITCHEN INC, OF NEW YORK, is recalling all “Oreo Red Velvet Pudding” in 4.7 ounce sizes 7.1and 8 ounce ounce sizes because they contain undeclared eggs. 

The recalled “Oreo Red Velvet Puddings” were distributed in New York City to retail stores. 

No illness or allergic reactions involving this product have been reported to date.

The recall was initiated after routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food inspectors and subsequent analysis by Food Laboratory personnel revealed the presence of eggs in the packaged “Oreo Red Velvet Pudding” which was undeclared on the labels.

Consumers who have purchased 4.7 ounce, 7.1 ounce and 8 ounce “Oreo Red Velvet Pudding” are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact Michael Morgan the owner, at 347 689 4150.
