WHAT:
NYS Agriculture Commissioner Richard A. Ball will visit the Capital Region Welcome Center to continue the State’s celebration of the Taste NY program’s 10th anniversary, spotlighting local farmers and food and beverage producers who are growing their business with the help of the Taste NY program. Since its launch, the program has had a more than $100 million economic impact on the program’s participants across New York.
The celebration marks the fourth in a series of events that are planned across the state in 2023 to recognize Taste NY’s 10-year milestone and the program’s success. Taste NY is New York’s flagship ‘eat local, drink local’ program, highlighting the quality and diversity of food and beverages grown and made in New York.
