Media Advisory: Agriculture Commissioner Kicks Off Holiday Season with Tree Cutting to Promote New York Agriculture

New York State Grown & Certified Local Tree Farm Providing Tree to Be Displayed in the Central New York Welcome Center

WHAT:

State Agriculture Commissioner will promote the purchase of farm-fresh Christmas trees grown in New York with a tree-cutting event at NYS Grown & Certified Rocking Horse Tree Farm. The donated tree will be displayed in the Central New York Welcome Center to further encourage consumers to buy local trees this holiday season.

Additional local trees will be on display across the State at New York’s regional Welcome Centers, Taste NY stores, and the Empire State Plaza in Albany.
