Consumer Alert: Undeclared Milk in MarLour Brand "Soybean Flavor Biscuit"

New York State Agriculture Commissioner Richard A. Ball today alerted consumers to undeclared milk in MarLour brand “Soybean Flavor Biscuit,” distributed by Link Produce Inc., located at 20-23 119th St., Flushing, NY.  People who have severe sensitivity to milk may run the risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume this product. No illnesses have been reported to date to this Department in connection with this product. 

The recalled MarLour brand “Soybean Flavor Biscuit” is packaged in a 350-gram, metal tin.  The product has a container code of B/2020/05/15 E103.  The product distribution beyond this location is unknown currently.    

Routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets’ food inspectors and subsequent analysis of the product by the New York State Food Laboratory revealed the product contained milk allergens, which were not declared on the label. 

Consumers who have purchased MarLour brand “Soybean Flavor Biscuit” may return the product to the place of purchase.  Consumers with questions about the recalled product may contact the Division of Food Safety and Inspection at (518) 457-4492.
