CONSUMER ALERT: Food Business El Dorado Bakery Corp Recalls "Pan Dulce (Sweet Bread)" Due to Undeclared Milk Allergen

El Dorado Bakery Corp of Hempstead, NY 11550 is recalling 6 oz containers of “Pan Dulce (Sweet Bread)” due to undeclared milk allergen. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

“Pan Dulce (Sweet Bread)” was distributed in New York state through retail stores. The products are packaged in 6 oz clear plastic containers with UPC code 897746000186.

No illnesses or allergic reactions involving this product have been reported to date.

The recall was initiated after routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors and subsequent analysis by Food Laboratory personnel revealed that the milk containing product distributed in packages that did not reveal the presence of milk.
