Overview
The Land Trust Grants Program awards state assistance to land trusts for activities that will assist counties and municipalities with their agricultural and farmland protection efforts, including providing technical assistance to county and municipal governments, owners of agricultural lands and other agricultural interests. Round 4 of the program offers to pay for appraisal costs for proposed conservation easement projects on farm operations. To be eligible, your not-for-profit conservation organization must have an active farmer on their Board.

All proposals must be submitted online through the Grants Gateway. The deadline is June 24, 2022.
